About Us
The Metal Recycling Group is a privately owned company that strives to ensure the needs of the customer are always met. Whether we buy 1kg or 1,000 tonnes, the goal remains the same: to ensure that you, the customer, receive a great customer service experience. Formerly LCM Scrap, MRG has been trading for over ten years, purchasing and selling scrap metal into export markets. This practice has tremendous benefits for the environment by supporting a circular economy and significantly reducing CO2 emissions compared to mining for new iron ore.
We are committed members of the BMRA, BIR, and NFDC, working closely with other parties within these federations.

Products We Process
We work with multiple industries, including Car Manufacturers, the Demolition and Construction sectors, Metal Merchants, Waste Services, and many more. We purchase ferrous and nonferrous materials in all shapes and sizes! If you’re not sure what these materials are, let us help! Ferrous materials are magnetic, while nonferrous materials are nonmagnetic (with the exception of stainless steel). Below is a list of the typical grades our yards purchase, handle, and process, ready for export:
